SkepticaLED

What it is

The cups are wired in no particular physical order, which normally makes them useless as a display. SkepticaLED fixes that. A webcam photographs each LED one at a time, works out where every cup really is, and then uses that map to show pictures, animations and shows on the dome.

The web version is being built

None of this is open yet. Here is what it is for.

• Try it with no dome

  Open the site, no login needed, and run effects on a virtual dome.

• Run a real dome over USB

  Plug a dome into a computer, scan it, build a show and play it from Chrome or Edge.

• Keep your work

  Sign in with your DMaxGame account and your maps and shows follow you to another computer.

• Share and remix

  Browse what other people have published, preview it, and remix it into your own.
